After watching this amazing movie your mind is going to blow. The animation is Beautiful, Insane and the way of the story is executed is superb. The landscape and cityscenes are almost photo realistic, attentions being given to the tiniest of details an lots of themes. It is not a huge movie with the 8 characters and lots of themes but in 45 minutes all this wrapped up with a spectacular climax. You know the climax is coming
but you didn't expect a climax like this, with full of sentiments, energy, and art.
Everything in just 46 minutes.
Overall Garden of words is a really good piece of art. It's definitely filled with signature style and a definite recommendation to watch.
PLOT :
This movie starts with the rainy season in Tokyo with Takao Akizuki, a 15-year-oldstudent. He is passionate about shoemaking and chooses to skip his first-class and sketch shoes designed in the garden at Shinjuku Gyoen. There he meet a mysterious women Yukari Yukino, a 27 year old women who is skipping work. They two encounter each other continues meeting in every rainy morning but they never formally introduced themselves. With the end of the rainy season takao stop visiting the park and focuses on work and decides to make a pair of shoes for her.
Following summer break, Takao returns to school and spot Yukino, his friends inform about her that she is a Literature Teacher and that she had been target of gossip and bullying. Out of kindness and to avoid further confrontation, Yukino opted to avoid work and retreat to the park, hoping that she would learn to overcome her fear and be able to live happily again. However she quit her job and leave the school. One afternoon Takao meets Yukino at the park and greet her by reciting the 2514poem from the Man'ysh Japanese poetry collection. After getting soaked by a sudden thunderstorms both head to Yukino's apartment and spend the afternoon together, that turned into a expected melodramatic scene when Takao confesses his feelings to Yukino.
